Knife Care Tips.
Never put your knife in the dishwasher! Dishwashers are prone to destroy handcrafted works of art, due to their harsh detergents and high heat! Always scrub your kitchen knives by hand with mild dish soap and warm water. Dry your knives immediately after washing to prevent rusting and damage to the blade and handles.
Store your knives in a knife block, on a magnetic strip, or in a protective sheath to keep the blades sharp and protect the handles.
Always use a cutting board when using your kitchen knives to prevent damage to the blades and avoid dulling them on hard surfaces.
Never use your kitchen knives for purposes other than their intended use, such as opening cans or bottles, as this can damage the blade and cause injury.
Wooden handles can be oiled regularly with food safe mineral oils such as butcher block oil.
"A falling knife has no handle, so always be careful and pay attention when using your kitchen knives to prevent accidents and injury." This quote serves as a reminder to always handle knives with care, to avoid dropping them and to be aware of their sharp edges at all times
